The Paul & Delilah Roch Charitable Trust

MISSION

Camp Kilimanjaro was created to empower the women of Tanzania through educational grants for the poor and disadvantaged. Additionally, the Camp works closely with the community of Lasso Kirua Vunjo, located one mile high on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, in the development of a small medical clinic, pre-school nursery, local women's group, a library for the school, and the repair of a local damn.

LIFE OF A VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are expected to work 4-6 hour days with the remainder of each day devoted to interacting with the villagers or enjoying the natural and historical wonders of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Projects include a medical clinic, preschool nursery, women's group, construction of a library, and repair of a local damn. Volunteers will feel as if they are in the "Garden of Eden" - photos can be found at http://www.CampKilimanjaro.com
